We visited Markleeville in Alpine County to conduct another interview for our upcoming oral history project, The Places We Dream. The visit gave us another opportunity to hear directly from the community and continue documenting experiences with homelessness and housing insecurity throughout California’s rural regions. We are grateful to everyone who continues to share their experiences and stories with us.
