We are excited to announce two new grant awards from two wonderful foundations who will help us continue to grow our Makeshift Traveler program throughout California. First, we are grateful for another $5,000 grant from the Margaret Beelard Community Foundation which will support delivering our Makeshift Traveler to 50 individuals experiencing homelessness in the city of Fairfield in Solano County, California. We are so appreciative of their support in 2023 and 2024. Secondly, we would like to extend a huge thank you to the Dr. Hildegard H. Balin Charitable Trust which will support a Makeshift Traveler for 50 elderly homeless individuals in Santa Barbara, California. Without support from these types of foundations, our work would not exist, so thank you!
