Yesterday, we had the pleasure of setting up Project Homeless Connect’s drop-in hours again and meeting many amazing individuals. Pictured here is William, a fascinating and cool guy who we chatted with for nearly 30 minutes about his unique journey of experiencing homelessness.
William is from Sacramento, California, having experienced homelessness for a little over ten years. William came in with a backpack packed and stuffed with all his belongings. Often, this is a great candidate for our Makeshift Traveler with a goal to enhance someone’s existing belongings. William shared the nuances of where he usually resides and his challenges of maintaining a consistent connection with a case manager to receive housing eventually.
