During my travels in Northern California I had the pleasure to meet these two gentleman named Joshua and Don who shared their stories about experiencing homelessness in various counties scattered through Northern California. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any extra Makeshift Travelers to provide to them, but I did have some hygiene kits which had various cosmetics, clothing, and basic necessities. Visiting smaller rural homeless communities like in Jackson has been insightful to see the different dynamics of homelessness across the state of California. I was super appreciative of these two gentleman taking the time to connect.
