Meeting Mark O’Harps, Harmonica Player and Musician

This morning we feature Mark O’Harps, a harmonica player and musician who has been experiencing homelessness in San Francisco for nearly 35 years! Mark’s story was an extremely fascinating one. I first met Mark last year when we connected at Project Homeless Connect, but unfortunately he was unable to receive a backpack that day. Nearly eight months later, I immediately recognized his face and reconnected.

Mark shared numerous stories about being homeless for 35 years, we would have hung out for hours if there were not others waiting in line! Mark is very talented with his musical skills, and even shared a performance of his on Haight Ashbury. You can view it here.

If you are interested in making a donation or contacting Mark, we recorded his cell phone number and email. Please click the button below to make a donation, or reach out to us on our Contact Us page if you have other inquiries. We look forward to sharing updates to our Makeshift Traveler! Thank you for following along.
