Today I rode my bike over to City Hall and met up with Kenny, who was also riding his bike to connect. Kenny had been experiencing homelessness for several years. He reached out on our website requesting if he could receive a pack, noting that he rarely asks for handouts, but keeping his phone charged is nearly impossible.
Kenny had a unique story that included a series of events that ultimately displaced him into being homeless. He shared that he is very passionate about bikes and doing handy work; he would love to be employed to alleviate the challenges of homelessness.
