Delivering Makeshift Travelers to Santa Rosa in Sonoma County

Recently, we had the opportunity to deliver five Makeshift Traveler backpacks to Sonoma Applied Villages, made possible through a City of Santa Rosa Community Improvement grant award. Sonoma Applied Villages is doing thoughtful, grounded work to support people experiencing homelessness.

This initial delivery is the first phase of a larger distribution planned for the Spring, when an additional 35 Makeshift Travelers will be provided.

We appreciate the City of Santa Rosa’s investment through the Community Improvement grant and the role Sonoma Applied Villages plays in ensuring these resources are distributed effectively and responsibly within the community.
