Today we highlight the story of our good buddy, Forest.
Forest is a former Outreach Worker in San Francisco, where he worked for a few different nonprofit organizations in the community connecting with those who need assistance. Forest was also involved in fundraising and event planning for these organizations.
After a series of health events, including using various addictive substances, Forest became diagnosed Schizophrenic. It became challenging for Forest to hold a stable job; therefore, he became unhoused during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We were incredibly grateful for Forest’s great artwork that he created for us, thanking our team for his Makeshift Traveler. We are still in contact with Forest, so if you would like to make a donation to him, please click the button below and write a comment, “Forest.” We look forward to tracking his progress out of homelessness.
